Impressive! It's good to see the homebrew approach going strong. Maybe we have different definitions of homebrew, but all of that hardware looks like new, off the shelf hardware. I am not belittling this project, I just wouldn't use that terminology. Personally I would rather get a Raspberry Pi to ...

Re: Identify Cartridge
That cartridge is sort of a cousin to the Action Replay cartridge. Most of these have a good fast loader, and a fair to good freezer. I gather you're in Europe, since the vast majority of these carts are PAL.

Re: Mythbusters' last season! I'll miss them!
The new Mythbusters started on Nov 15th. It's not bad. I got so used to the "old" show, it might take a while for this to settle in, but so far, it's …login to view the rest of this post

Re: C128D troubleshooting help needed - diagonal stripes on 40col
The 1802 doesn't seem to hold up as well other Commodore monitors. You should look into getting a monitor that will display 80 columns, so you can really use the 128.
I use an Amiga 1080 with excellent results for both 40 and 80 columns. I also use a 2002 at times, but the 1080 has a better display.

C-64/C-128 Software availibility
There are more than a few sites that have 8 bit Commodore games to download today. But I have only found three sites that offer "serious" programs. By Serious I mean data base programs, graphics programs, Spreadsheets, etc. Any one know of a site I may have missed? I used to have most of w...

BB Writer 128
I need to find this software. It's known as "The Write Stuff" from Busy Bee Software, or just BB Writer. I would prefer v1, but I'll settle for any version.
