Help with Flyer Internet Modem & Streaming disks.

Post by Disc Master I »

Hello Everyone.

I wanted to ask if anyone here has used their Flyer to stream prgs and disk images (d64/d81)?

I have my own cloud server setup and have been able to stream prg files, but disks are giving me some problems. Can anyone verify that the following commands are the appropriate commands to stream and mount disk images? If they are correct, does anyone know why the below issue might be happening?

LOAD"DISK:ULTIMA4,R",7
OPEN 7,7,15,"R-M:ULTIMA4":CLOSE7

After issuing the above commands I can type LOAD"$",7 or LOAD"$",12 but neither location has the mounted image. What am I missing or doing wrong?

Also, device 12 is my Flyer disk drive device and device 7 is the built in device the Flyer uses to access the cloud server.

Any help or advice is appreciated.

Thanks,
John

I run a cloud server for sometime and created this article to help users use it.. but no one did so when i updated the server i did not set it up again.

It was linked to users webdrive account allowing them to use the disk image editor ect http://cbm8bit.com/webdrive/ maybe i might revisit it soon.

Hope this helps a bit.

Wish to add to the FAQ place your txt here and i will add it.... Be nice to push the Flyer again i was full on when they first came out but was quite alone with no real feedback on features users wished to have added etc. and no webdrive users used it as per the logs... I did enjoy using it myself there for a while but got busy doing the many other projects for myself and others.
