Another small plus over the SuperPLA is the board size. Looking at it, I'm guessing this one won't foul against the SID on certain boards unless double socketed.

The superPLA sticks out, and on the boards where the PLA is at the top, it hits the SID.

Sign me up for 5 please. I would be fine with Kits if it drops the price a little. If not, fully assembled is great.

@yaztromo
It's a slim fit, second slimmest I could make it. Board measures 17.7x36.1mm so it's about the size of a 28 pin socket, shouldn't get in the way.

I got a new e-mail address to receive European orders:

Super Zaxxon (the cart version - not the disk) is very sensitive to any problems a PLA might have. It uses a flip-flop to toggle access to the upper or lower half of one of its 2 ROMs. PLAnkton supports it perfectly.

PLAnkton works well with everything I could throw at it yet it consumes the same amount of power as an LED. Unlike many other products available out there, it is based on a chip that is still in production and easily available from authorized distributors - no counterfeits.

PLAnkton will also soon be tested on the 64r.
We were talking about this on another forum, so you already know I want at least one of these. I will be using it in a C-64c with board # 250466. I do hope it works on that board.

I have a 250466 in a breadbin case. Its the first board I tested PLAnkton on. Works beautifully.

Some one just posted yet another PLA chip for sale called PLAtinum. Have you ever heard of this thing? Here is the only info I have so far on this chip.
