This was really superb conversion for C64.My opinion.Everything was on some high level of quality!

Liked it, but the multiload on tape was horrid!Was worth it to hear the opening SID though..."One...Two...Three...Hit it! Ou, Ou, OUTRUN..." Cheers Jeroen ;)

Agreed, the multi load drained the fun out of it for me. Music is excellent though.

I had it on disk, so the multiload wasn't quite so bad, but I must say that I got so hyped up for this game that I was a little disappointed. The car just seemed so big and awkward.

Nothing like the disappointment that was WEC Le Mans though -- another game I had high hopes for. :(

I preferred the top down view racers, Slicks for example was excellent.

Strangely enough, I don't think I had a single top down racer back in the day. Closest thing I had to one was Spy Hunter... which isn't very close, really.

First racing game I had was Pitstop II, which I thought was amazing at the time. Spent quite a lot of time with Speed King too.
