Shamus has more levels on the 64 vs VIC

Post by eslapion »

Nearly 10 years ago I created a map of all levels (rooms) of the game Shamus on the VIC-20.

There are 32 rooms on the VIC.

However, I do remember reading somewhere that on the Apple II and C64 there are more rooms.

I don't quite remember if that was 64 or 128.

Is there a map of all these rooms somewhere? How many are there exactly?

Well, 128 rooms (numbered 0 to 127) it is. https://www.c64-wiki.com/index.php/Shamus

This allows me to realize and inform you that the mapping on the VIC-20 version:

a) Includes only one level (each level on the C64 has 32 rooms)

b) is completely different from the C64 version.

Do you think I should post it?
