Yeah, it's been fairly common knowledge that VICE was being used and that it's version 2.4 of X64, so a little lacking in accuracy compared to what we're using now. There were issues reported as regards latency pretty much from day one and, whilst I can't remember the details since it was a while back, Trevor Storey mentioned on Twitter that his team had found some frustrating issues with sprite handling too, although at least the former has been reduced by updating the unit's firmware.
