World Cup 2014

Post by Melon »

So, it's that time again, the World Cup 2014 is just around the corner.

Who do you think will lift the cup?

I'll start with the host country, Brazil.

Of course, England - I can't say much else really. Not very pragmatic.

Canada of course! Oh wait....we didn't even qualify....always thinking hockey.
Seriously, with my limited knowledge of soccer, (international football for purists) I will pick Spain.

South American countries win in South America, so it's hard to look beyond Brazil - but Spain have a strong squad (even if they did pick Torres ahead of Negredo).

Heck, I tipped Spain and Brazil who succumbed to their heaviest defeats in World Cup history. Good job I don't play the football pools...
