The word means "tuner" if I go by its similarity to the French word "syntonisateur".

It's Spanish for tuner. Not familiar with what it is - radio or TV signal?

There's 2 phono connections in one of the pictures, and the unit has UHF on the switch so i'd assume it's some type of radio tuner for the amiga.

It's a TV tuner for the Amiga.
