You learn something new every day! At today's SCCAN meeting, I was told of the Terrible Fire 534, a new '030 accelerator for the Amiga 1000, 500, and 2000. It's listed on Amiga - Hardware for Sale on Amibay. Since it's rare for me to look at Amibay, I didn't know it existed!

That's funny. I just had somebody on Amibay ask for to perform a job of soldering 2 XC9572XL CPLDs on these boards. It happens to be the same type of chip used on GandALF. Easy enough!

What happened to the CPLD's? Did the originals fail?

The guy is asking me to solder parts on what is essentially unpopulated boards so he wants me to solder the originals.
