If you haven't been playing for a while, GNGA might be a bit rough to start with. :)

I have setup the first competition. http://retrocomputerscene.com/highscores/competition/ it will be Ghost N Goblins.

I create a new catagory to keep the scores for competitions scores seperate to the highscores. Shall we copy the score over later as well ?
Competiton uploads go into the competition catagory under games "important" for the code i am working on to work.

Shall we create a new melon64 thread for each competition. ?
This is a demo competition and to get some data populated for me to use, Feedback is important for the offical competitions to follow.

Can someone create a trophy image ? i can but i am not good at it. ;) something to do with Ghost N Goblins for the winners trophy cabinet under construction.

Cheers
Shane.

Sounds good. Given this thread is at 33 pages. A new thread for each competition would be cool. Copying scores over after sounds cool too.

Unfortunately I'm no good with images.

TOO DO!!

We need to create a set of Commonly Asked Questions like this.

Advice on doing screen shots etc would be great.

Count me In. really loving GNG Arcade.. Also glad to have more time on it as its a large and difficult game altho I`m sure someone will most likely complete it.
As for carrying the scores over yeah why not. And I agree a new thread would probably be a good idea.
I`d love to help out but I`m not very good with website related stuff and not very artistic.
Looking forward to the compo, thanks for your efforts Shane..

I've played it through with a friend who had the trainers on, (That's how I know that the final level works like the arcade.) I haven't had chance to play myself any more as yet. :)

I'll start a new thread for the next competiton and future competition this one is more about building rules and and how to best run future ones. Where posisble can player post this invite on other forums stick to online sites themed towards Retro Computers and Consoles. :)

The RCS team and players would like to invite you to our first competition at the new RCS competition website our first game is Ghost'n'Goblins Arcade.

Image

Please use the official version of the game available here 'click' to compete.

Round starts 1st of July and will end 14th of july 23:59 GMT. A trophy will be handed out for your online trophy cabinet and only scores obtained during the competition date will be valid, all players are asked to vote on scores.

Post your screen shot in the Ghost'n'Goblin competition upload page to track scores and leave comments, heckles and so on.

Please recommend additions to rules by emailing or PM me.

Link to the RSC Competitions home page is here

Look forward to building a featured competition web site for the Commodore 64 and other Retro Computer & Consoles.

As always feedback will drive site changes.
