OK big pie in the sky feature......

The ability to detach from cbm8bit and build your own standalone site theme for the scores site or use a theme built by another player.

Our code, your theme or the default standalone theme we will build as an example.

Feedback :)

Pushed a large update today to cbm8bit including for the scores project ...

Scores tab in user's Profile where users can edit/delete/view their scores and Update profile tab with standard form for updating.
Team menu for trusted-players. There are three team members at the moment PM me to be included.
Includes tab with User List on the main page, where trusted-users can manage user's highscores, they can't see emails and can't ban.
Includes tab with unapproved high scores where they can approve or delete newly created high scores.

Ability for players to edit their scores right on the scores pages. When players surf the scores pages and see an error in one of their scores the player can click on the edit button and be able to change text fields only. When High score are deleted all related to it information and comments are deleted too.

Their are a few tiny bugs i noticed that will need to be fixed but their only small bugs that will not effect the database so will wait for feedback before doing
another push.

To Do:
Team members have a look at the team menu and players have a go at editing one of your scores maybe change some text and let me know what you think.

This update has touched on a great deal of code so let me know if you notice a bug....

The scores editor and team member utilities are user requests so please leave some feedback on these updates the are many hours in creation at players
requests.

Cheers
Shane.

I pushed a few bug fixes and a few more features for team members... Team members have a great deal of power really i hope this is ok. Team members like forum moderators can approve, delete and edit scores.... At the moment their are three team members mitchfrenzal, yaztromo, conjuror , and anns. These players asked and have shown their clearly not spammers and are active players. anns my wifes account this account will be demoted once we get a few active trusted users to approve scores. Team members can not see your email address.

Players can by showing cause demote a team member... As an example 'a team member deletes or edits score for their own gain' and so on players can request the team member be demoted if the cause is 'just' it will happen. Players must have equal a say in policies & features.

Players need to have a avenue of requesting a score be removed, how do we go about this? "A button that emails a request maybe"

Remember feedback drives policies and features....

What do players think about the edit button now available next to your scores :) give it a go add some extra data to one or two of your games.

I would like to add a contact button for players to talk to each other how should we go about this. ?

[contact]

Brings me back to emails please check that your is current and how about we include another to contact on. One used to administer your account and another for social contacts ? That way when you contact someone only a social email address is used ? Or i can have all contact sent from a cbm8bit email account. contact@cbm8bit.com players name in the subject and message in the message pane ? You would email them back using the same format, email address contact@cbm8bit.com subject players name and a message in the message pane......

feedback.
