I've been following what happens to one of the weirdest known star from the corner of my eye in scientific news.

I spend a fair amount of time out at night with telescope and binoculars, even so much as to have ground my own parabolic mirror. Been contributing a little bit to help keep it under constant observation so it doesn't explode :)

Less so in the winter.. brrr
