Re: REU for C-64 & C-128

Well yes. Georam was the more affordable solution than the C1750 REU. Without DMA could not offer the speed and versatility of the C1570. It was basically just for GEOS. But it did not require the heavy duty power supply. Realistically speaking there is not much more software to use with the C1570 s...

Re: REU for C-64 & C-128

I have given up on this. The guy that started the whole thing (in the other forum) had indicated that he received something like 10 e-mails from people showing interest. BTW - He never reply to my e-mails. In any case I am now following this, which is already in development.. https://www.vintageisth...

Re: Games Library

This thread is pretty old with no follow ups. The "game library" has no entries.

Is the project dead or just suspended?

Re: 64C promotional video

I think the video is earlier than Aug 1988. It introduces the C64C with GEOS 1.2. So I am thinking spring / fall 1986. In any case it came from here.

Re: reset site major face lift push.

Looks very good so far, good job.

I think the simple background looks better. But may I suggest high definition pictures for the covers. Just to be able to read them. As an example see # 8. It reads clearer than the others.

Re: reset site major face lift push.

I personally like the presentation by DLH. Just one web page with the picture of the covers and link to download. For the reset magazine a brief summary of contents under each picture would look good. How about the links to the D64? http://www.bombjack.org/commodore/magazines/compute-gazette/compute...

Re: This has bothered me for quite a while

I can think of a couple of "illusive" (as in deceptive) pieces of hardware or software. But, probably, the intention here was for "elusive" games.

Re: REU for C-64 & C-128

So I have been testing the REU of the 1541U-II with my C128DCR and various flavors of GEOS. GEOS2.0 - GEOS2.1 - Wheels - MP3. With the REU set for 16MB and in C64 mode all flavors of GEOS are working and recognizing the max memory allowed. GEOS2.0 up to 512KB GEOS2.1 up to 2048KB Wheels up to 2MB MP...
