Re: Best C64 shmups? (Shoot'em Ups)
Recently I really got into Gaplus. It seems to me like one of the best arcade conversions for the platform.

Re: Best C64 shmups? (Shoot'em Ups)
Blazing Lazers (Yes I'm aware it's tg16 but it's the only other STG that I enjoy) Yep.. I've been getting into TG16 lately, and Blazing Lazers is the game I've been playing.. (A few of us are competing on it on highscore.com right now, actually..) The TG16/PCE's reputation as the shmup platform is ...

Re: What's the worst Movie you've watched recently?
That Total Recall remake was crap, IMO.. Though I kinda like the phone hand thing.. I've avoided the Robocop remake b/c I fear what they might have done to it..

Delta Armalyte Sanxion R-Type Uridium Parallax I used to play Parallax, but didn't have the instructions, so I was really just bumbling around.. I recently acquired a legit copy with a manual, so I should invest some time in that one.. I didn't realize that R-Type was on the 64, so I'll definitely ...

Best C64 shmups? (Shoot'em Ups)
The C64 has an extremely extensive library of shumps (and I'm not including seuck games).. possibly more than any other platform.
I'm curious what everyone's favorite shoot'em ups for the C64 are?
Also, is it just me, or are Mr. Heli and Io: Into Oblivion extremely hard??

C64 hidden gems?
There's some games on the C64 that are very well-known favorites, but given how extensive the library of games are for that platform, I'm curious if anyone has any favorites that they would consider "hidden gems"? For example, I've always thought of Hard 'N' Heavy as being a classic, but a...

Hi everyone, The C64 high score contest is well underway. kernzy is currently in the lead with 5 trophies. shinjide is close behind with 4. The contest still have several weeks to go, and it is still wide-open. Keep in mind that many C64 games have no scores in the Highscore.com database, yet, so al...
