Re: IEEE-488 for the VC1541 Drive - The New TriMod CBM Adapter
Does this essentially work like Schepers' Internal Parallel cable for the 1541? Could it also work in a 1541-II or 1571?

Re: Interest for a C64c (250469) PLA replacement?
It can't be offered at the same price as PLAnkton because there is a lot more technology involved. The PLA used in breadbin C64 is 28 pins and represents a single 24V10 logic array. The large PLA in the C64c is a 64 pins IC which carries all the logic of the original PLA as well as the functions of...

Re: Interest for a C64c (250469) PLA replacement?
Would it be available at the same price as the PLAnkton, would you have an EU distributor, and can we get to name it the PLAtypus?
If (at least) the first two are true, I'm in for two units.

Re: C128D troubleshooting help needed - diagonal stripes on 40col
Thanks for the suggestion. I've also got an Orion CCM-1280 (friend gifted it to me) which does have both Y/C and RGBI-TTL mode and it would work for both 40col and 80col. However, that one has a different issue - after its first fifteen minutes, it started fading out very soon after powerup, so that...

Re: C128D troubleshooting help needed - diagonal stripes on 40col
Standing down red alert... hooked the 128D to a regular TV using just the luma cable (no combined chroma input on the TV) and it works yet again. Looks like the monitor is in need of a repair. Might also try wiring it up to a SCART or an S-Video connector with a chroma resistor.

C128D troubleshooting help needed - diagonal stripes on 40col
So I got my C128D package today, with the main unit, keyboard, three utility disks, 1351 mouse, A/V cable and 1802 monitor. I assembled the whole thing, powered it up in 40col mode (no 80col screen) and it worked well for about ten minutes or so. I messed around 128 mode, went into 64 mode, went int...

Re: A new generation of PLA for the C64 is now available.
Black and gold would be very elegant - alas, I cannot guarantee I'd get one, seeing as I just had two delivered from e5frog not two weeks ago!
Also, the breadbox it was supposed to go into started working all of a sudden. Very unusual. At least I have spares if something goes astray.
