Re: OSH Park PCB Issues?
Hi Zippy Zapp, It is very interesting to read about others experiences with PCB board manufacturers. Big flame wars will erupt with some of my comments I'm sure. I too used JCLPCB boards on eslapion's recommendations. I noticed that JCLPCB boards ship from Hong Kong and PCBway come out of mainland C...

Re: Early prototype C65 on eBay
Hi honmecat, I see you got a sale! Well done.... Just question. I have never really seen many videos relating to this machine. Do you or someone else knows any weblinks or YouTube videos on the subject? It looks like a fascinating machine. BTW, I did like your video you made for the eBay auction.

Hi DistantStar001,
That's very good work.
I try to ground myself when swapping out ram chips. I have damaged some in the past by not taking extra static protection precautions.

Re: OSH Park PCB Issues?
Hi Gyro Gearloose and Zippy Zapp,
This is a very interesting topic.A good conversation starter.
I wonder what other people's experiences have been.
Has any one else used other PCB fabrication companies to provide services to the general hobbyist?
I am sure many people would like to know.

Re: Need a clean image of a C64 250425 PCB
Hi DistantStar001, Sounds like you have a great deal of patience, that will definitely help you in testing. I had a similar situation. I once found when trouble shooting a C64 board the actual rocker power switch was not making good contact. I would always test good on all the various voltages aroun...

Re: CMD SuperCPU - who's still interested?
Just an update on Sidekick64 cartridge. Frenetic has made an adapter PCB that allows the Sidekick64 cartridge to interface with a Vic 20 machine. A new hardware layer program is designed to run with the Vic 20. This is called Sidekick20. He has been able to run a secondary Vic 20 on the Raspberry pi...

Hi HurkyGerky,
Just a note on the trigger voltage . I think the terminal voltage of a 74xxx chip is 5.2v.
I have mine set to go off at around 5.1v. This way even if the voltage ramps up too quickly there is a safety net.
