Providing service to the Commodore community and the consequences
I was sure naive but hey in a way I'm proud of it. I arrived in the Commodore community, a VIC-20 and C64 fan, just thinking I could provide good serv…login to view the rest of this post

Re: A new generation of PLA for the C64 will soon be available.
@Skoe The above capture was done at 500MHz resolution. These glitches are so fast they don't show up at 200MHz or 100MHz capture rates. Is it possible your examinations of the SuperPLA V2/V3 were done at 100MHz like those in the PLA dissected document? On PLAnkton, CASRAM is latency boosted through ...

Re: A new generation of PLA for the C64 will soon be available.
@Skoe AFAIK there is no slew rate control or low power mode on the MACH210 used on these things. That must cause ringing all over the place. One of the important reason for choosing the XC9536XL as the core for PLAnkton is these 2 features used concurrently - no ringing! Jens says I think too much i...

Are these also good for 1541-II drives? They look nearly identical.
I sure could use a few.

@motrucker
Tried contacting him on Denial and e-mail... got no reply.
I'm just so glad he kicked the butt of Jens with his 2.5v threshold levels stories and CMOS parts imaginary problems.

Re: A new generation of PLA for the C64 will soon be available.
@motrucker Thanks for the link. Could you tell Skoe I've been trying all I can to reach him? He won't answer by e-mail or on Denial. Cool to notice he posted a clear opinion on Jen's truckload of misinformation. The glitches Skoe refers to when mentioning the SuperPLA (I tested a V3) are not just on...

Re: Got some Feedback?
hey eslapion, there's a time limit on editing posts. this was put in place when some kiddies decided to edit all there posts to a simple "?". I agree with the idea but I wasn't able to edit some posts only a few minutes after posting. People who edit their posts to a "?" should ...
