Re: SaRuMan-VDC 64k RAM for C128 VDC
Eslapion, I've been trying to PM you, but I keep getting server errors. Forum email fails too. Maybe that functionality doesn't work for new forum users? The discord seems dead as well. I'd like to order this VDC 64k RAM expansion and perhaps a TOLB module. How can I contact you? Thanks! You did we...

Re: CleoRAM - improved GeoRAM - now available!
The issue is now resolved. CleoRAM has been tested with GEOS on the C128 and the latest config files.
It's nice to have 2 RAM 1581 drives.

Re: CleoRAM - improved GeoRAM - now available!
The matter is simple: the C128's bus is a genuine 18 wheeler! While CleoRAM passed all tests on a C64 breadbin and at crazy speeds on the Ultimate 64, it has a hard time on the C128 in both C64 and C128 modes because the low voltage 2MB SRAM chips aren't able to drive the bus of the much bigger C128...

Really like to learn a bit about Shatner's interactions with this group of people.
I clearly remember seeing a PET in Star Trek II and I suspect this is a consequence of Shatner getting a CBM in the early 80s.

Re: GeoRAM clone prototype working!
The power consumption figures are interesting. When there is no access, the cartridge consumes 31mA and most of this is used by the XC9536XL - the same as a full intensity blue LED. With intense access on a standard C64 (testing with GMT 0.44) the power usage rises to 35mA - that's half the power of...

Re: GeoRAM clone prototype working!
It takes sooo loooong to test this cart when installed on a standard C64/C64c that I am forced to use my Ultimate 64 set to 48 MHz to check it.
I am in total awe. Photos to come.
