For me definitely the Action Replay, back in the day. I think in the USA it was a v5 or something like that as v6 I don't believe was available. But you couldn't tell the difference. I don't have that one anymore so I use it in the EasyFlash 3. I understand there is someone reproducing the AR, like...

As long as you are using BASIC this should be very straight forward. If you using a 1541, stay away from the "save@" command, it could still bite you.

Lately my Action Replay has been getting a real work out it's a Action Replay v7 from PLOPI not Datel one of the first of the clones selling when the Action Replay was still available. Shane. TMR- would your game be PAL-only or both PAL/NTSC compatible? i'm not entirely sure at the moment; the VDC isn't synced to the VIC-IIe so i think it's roughly the same amount of CPU time available for either. If VICE tells me that my tests work once i get something more complicated than the scrolli...
