Re: Are there and uses for a Georam (ram expansion) above 512kb

Hi Heart and eslapion, This is a great discussion. It's giving me lots to think about regarding memory expansion devices. I'm sure others will find this discussion very informative when making choices for memory expansion upgrades too. There indeed seems to be a wide selection of different hardware ...

Re: Are there and uses for a Georam (ram expansion) above 512kb

Hi Heart,

I had a suspicion that Geos could use more than 512kb ram, but I wasn't sure.

Interesting that some games can make use of ram.

Re: C128D displaying random characters on startup screen (plastic case model)

Hi Gyro Gearloose and rmzalbar, Apologies for not responding sooner. Work commitments got the better of me. Very interesting discussion, I think you are both correct in fact. It's a pity my oscilloscope decided to pack it in. I would have liked to have double checked the results from the dead test c...

Re: C64OS v1.0 released!

Hi RobertB,

Thanks for the information.

Looks interesting.

It's a shame c64os can't take advantage of the 80 columns in 128 mode.

Re: C64OS v1.0 released!

Hi RobertB,

Looks very interesting.

Do you know if it can use 80 column mode of the C128?

That would be a really great thing.
