Is that even a possibility? I am running out of space and It would be great If I could connect my C64 to my Sony VGA monitor.

Not directly, but there are plenty of video scalers that can take a NTSC or PAL video signal and convert it to a VGA signal.

I recommend a ViewSonic unit like a N4 or the older VB50HRTV.

But what model monitor is this?

That seems like a nice Trinitron monitor. It should work nicely with a ViewSonic unit.

So these units dont mind If it's a PAL or NTSC input? The unit works with both versions?

These devices are, indeed, NTSC or PAL specific. In other words, make sure you buy the right box.

Thanks. It seems ebay only has NTSC ones.

The super cheap video to VGA scalers on eBay support both ... automatically. However they seem to be a gamble as to whether they offer acceptable output.

Here's a slightly more clever unit

https://www.ebay.ca/itm/New-VGA-to-TV-R ... SwhI9eYdmY

it has controls.

Oh never mind, that one goes the wrong way around... VGA to video, not sure why this would be useful today.
