Commodore PET
Have a chance to purchase 2 TRS80s and a Commodore PET. The PET POSTS 31743 Bytes free. I see it has the green screen which I guess is good, the older one I guess has a white screen. The offer is $400 for everything, he said he wanted $150 for the 2 trash 80s, not sure if he will do the PET by itself for $250 or not. Asking him now if the dual floppies are included.

Re: Commodore PET
He just texted me back, said it has the dual floppy, a printer and a cassette. I really should buy this shouldn't I?

Re: Commodore PET
Could get the PET without the TRS80s for $300
Re: Commodore PET
What types of PET computer is it exactly ? What type of disk drive ?
The TRS-80, if they are business computers (model 3 ou model 4), they could be rarities...

Re: Commodore PET
I know that the PET has the dual external floppy, green screen 32k model, waiting for him to respond with exact model. Also waiting to hear back on the TRS80s, I know one is a model 3. The one TRS80 has dual floppys, the other just has panels covering floppy area. On one the space bar is damaged, so hoping they are identical and I can make 1 good one out of two

Re: Commodore PET
PET is a 2001-32n, the floppy is a CBM-2040 and the printer is a CBM-2022, both TRS80s are model 4
Re: Commodore PET
I know I wouldn't have the space for historical 'beasts' like these but I suspect you'll be able to sell them for more than you paid if they all work fine.
I think you should ask RobertB for information on these machines as his collection is considerably larger than mine which is restricted to Commodore 8 bit 'home' computers.
