What is the feeling about the Mega65?

Post by Gyro Gearloose »

Not a lot of chit chat about this project

At least I didn't find a lot of "buzz" about it. What is the forum's feeling about this?

This is how I feel, except without being certain either way about the purchase...

I am for sure looking forward to seeing this finish and shipping. I have been following it not to closely, for years. I want one because it will be fun to tinker with but I am not sure it will have a mass appeal that would be needed for significant amounts of software to appear. I think for that the Commander X16 has more of a chance, just my opinion though so who knows.

You never know software wise, I'm sure we'll see some of the recent game programmers dip their toes in. It's the demos I'd be keen on.
