2. Gunship
3. Alien Syndrome
4. Thrust
5. Berzerk
Honourable mentions for Park Patrol, Slicks, Pastfinder, Stunt Car Racer and IK+
OK that's cheating and doing a top ten but what the hey

Re: What's your top 5 games of all time?
Too hard to choose a top 5, but here are 5 C64 games (out of many more) that made a particular impression on me:
1) Armalyte -- I've never gotten tired of playing this gem.
2) Io -- Couldn't stop playing it until I beat it. Only four levels, but they kept me going for a long time.
3) Alien Syndrome -- Was delighted to find that the c64 conversion captured the essence of the arcade. Fond memories of 2-player action. Couldn't believe it when we finally beat bloody Minnow.
4) Green Beret -- I got my hands on GB at time when the most advanced game I had was Frogger, or maybe Spy Hunter. Its fast pace and sometimes brutal difficulty had me hooked, and I still come back to it these days.
5) Pool of Radiance -- I'm sure there are better examples of the genre, but this was my first exposure to RPGs/DnD and it made a lasting impression.

My always-changing all-time list..
1. GTA IV
2. Perfect Dark
3. Legend of Zelda OOT
4. Resident Evil 4
5. Mario Kart 64
The overall interest I have in PD and OOT is at unhealthy levels... The release of debug roms did not help any.
My c64 list...
1. Encounter
2. International Karate
3. Ballblazer
4. Pitstop II
5. Infernal Runner
Note three of the c64 games can be played two-player simultaneous -- methinks it really increases the fun.
