I saw this as well.
From the original Mario Brothers cartridge, Nintendo has come a long way. I have a "Luigi" racing car from Hot Wheels on my desk as I type this.

It's very impressive. Supports the Annihilator (C64GS) joystick to give two buttons

Nintendo did a quick job of making this little wonder unavailable everywhere.
