Just checked my 500 rev 6a, and it has a green light. (What is the normal color?). The 500 rev 6a board was used for the 500 and 500+. The board I have has several unpopulated memory slots. From what I understand though, it is not as simple as just putting in memory chips. Extra capacitors are required. Beyond my abilities.

The first versions of the 500 all have red power lights.
