BOUNTY - looking for a programmer
BOUNTY - looking for a programmer
I am looking for a programmer for hire that can alter the firmware of a Commodore 8 bit system.
Please PM me for details and offered salary.

As someone with a degree in electrical engineering with a specialisation in transport of energy and power electronics, I think you have no clue what you're talking about.Fungus wrote:As someone who works on the linux core and wrote linux for PET computers, I think you should be able to handle this yourself.
The only thing I know how to program is BASIC (a little) and Javascript (learned at college). I have nowhere near the necessary knowledge about 6502 ML to alter the fimware of any Commodore 8 bit drives or computers.
I do the hardware... not the software.

Re: BOUNTY - looking for a programmer
I think Fungus was trolling you... A member since 2014 and that is their first post... Hmmm, suspicious.

Since you couldn't even call it by its correct name, the kernel, your troll attempt is a pretty bad failFungus wrote:linux core

Exactly what this has to do with me looking for a programmer?Fungus wrote:It's not a troll, I am quoting what he said years ago on #c-64 on efnet. If I tried hard enough I could produce logs of some of the garbage he used to post, but that's not worth the time.
Have a day.
If you feel some of my past posts on that extreme right wing buzznest were not to your liking, then start a thread about it in the chit-chat section and stop spewing garbage of your own here...

And without context your quote is meaningless. Your first post since joining is off topic and squarely aimed at thread shitting. What is that if not a troll?Fungus wrote:I am quoting what he said years ago on #c-64 on efnet.
A threat. I'm sure you could, we've all said plenty of shit on IRC.If I tried hard enough I could produce logs of some of the garbage he used to post, but that's not worth the time.
Why does the C64 scene bring out so many whack jobs like you?

Well said!yaztromo wrote:Why does the C64 scene bring out so many whack jobs like you?
I think a few years back I mentioned why I made absolutely no attempt at being part of some C64 scene community. There was a guy whining he was rejected.

@ebeation
If you're willing to do this kind of offense to Alan Turing's picture, there's no telling what you're gonna do to Commodore equipment so please don't be too offended if I decline your offer for services.
As for EPROM-PLAs, I don't know if you have an Easy Flash 3 cart but I suggest you read what Thomas 'Skoe' Giesel said about that. Especially considering 300 units of PLAnkton were sold over the last 6 months.
Didn't you hear I created another EPROM-PLA sub I called Splatt just for you? It too works well with FastLoad and on boards KU-14194 and 326298 while the SuperPLA V3 fails... purposely ugly looking.

Re: BOUNTY - looking for a programmer
That is the definition of a troll. You brought some old crap up just to stir the pot and cause trouble. You had no intention of offering something meaningful to the request or thread. If that is not trolling what is it?Fungus wrote:It's not a troll, I am quoting what he said years ago on #c-64 on efnet.
